God Answers Your Prayers
THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU for all your prayers!!!
Steve had an awesome day today…almost completely pain free! He slept really well during the night too with hardly any sciatica pain.
Today was my day off and my daughters (Pam, Jennifer and Stephanie) covered for me throughout the day. The lead physical therapist told Pam and Jennifer that Steve is making phenomenal progress in his stroke recovery. He walked about 70 ft. today using a pronged cane with the therapist pushing his left foot along.
One occupational therapist brought in a fishing pole and had him casting in the dining/activity room. I asked him how he did and he said good but he didn’t catch any fish.
When I talked with him tonight he sounded so uplifted in spirit. I can really tell that he feels encouraged by the progress he’s made. So in addition to praying that Steve will remain free from pain, please pray that he will keep his focus on what he’s accomplishing, not on what he’s lost.
Today I had a very relaxing day and even finished up our tax return. My whole family felt lifted up. So I can’t thank you enough for all your prayers and encouragement!!! They truly make a difference, and everyday we need that support! Your outpouring of love has meant so much to us.
