Church Helps Us

This past Saturday a group of men and women from our church came to our home for a work day. I brought Steve home so he could see everyone, and his heart was so touched by the outpouring of love in action.

The ladies cleaned my house, scrubbed floors and dusted while the men rakeJoe washing foyer windowd my yard and picked up all the branches. One of the guys used an extension ladder to wash the window and change the light bulbs in the chandelier in the 2-story foyer.

The guys cleaned my garage and moved some appliances and old furniture out of the basement (including an 850 lb. woodburner and an old oil furnace). Then they hauled all of the junk away. WOW!!  They did all of that in only 4 1/2 hrs. It feels so good to have this work done, and it takes the pressure off of me figuring how to get it all done. Thank you Joe & Jessie, Julie, Bart, Teresa, Al and David from Living Hope Church. What a blessing you are to us!

Love, Kathy
