Feeling Better after Flu Hits Nursing Home
Steve apparently had a touch of a flu virus that was making the rounds in the nursing home. Quite a few of the other older residents got it more severely, and it proved to be deadly for one or two of them. Thank you so much for praying for him, because he was feeling much better late this afternoon.
His appetite came back after feeling nauseous and sick from the flu all night and this morning. Around 4:00 PM he was craving Mrs. Grass’ noodle soup, so our daughter Jennifer came to the rescue and made some and brought it over for him. It really hit the spot and he had three small bowls with some crackers and a PB&J sandwich.
His blood pressure came down to 142/86, and most of the leg/ankle pain was gone too, so he was feeling so much more comfortable.
I am just amazed at how quickly your prayers for Steve are being answered. We couldn’t go through this without your support. Thank you again for your faithfulness to pray. You are such a blessing to us, and we love and appreciate you.
