Oral Surgery Report

Thank you for your prayers!!!

Today Steve saw the oral surgeon. We wanted the doc to check out 2 wisdom teeth to see if they needed to be pulled in addition to the one molar that had to be pulled. After we prayed about it, neither one of us had any peace about having the wisdom teeth pulled, so we decided to leave those alone. The doctor concurred with us before we even got a chance to tell him what our decision was. He said it would stir things up and they should be left alone. He didn’t even want to take an x-ray to see where the roots were because he felt so strongly about it.

The molar was extracted easily and quickly, and as of tonight Steve is feeling well. We are so thankful that this doctor was so honest and forthright with us instead of him being like other dentists who tried to convince Steve that those teeth needed to be pulled. The bill which could have been in the hundreds of dollars, was only $170. Insurance doesn’t pay for it or for the rest of the dental work he needs done, so we were relieved.

Thank you again for your prayers that all would go well, and for the doctor to be filled with wisdom. God certainly heard you. Now we are praying that the incision will heal well and that Steve will have a full and complete recovery without any complications or infection. After all, he can only eat pudding, applesauce and yogurt for so long!!

Our love,
Steve & Kathy
