Wheezing is New

For the last several nights Steve has been coughing and wheezing so severely that he can’t sleep, and neither can I. He saw the doctor this past Friday and she prescribed an antibiotic for a chest infection, but no inhaler for the asthma-like breathing. This shortness of breath is new since the seizure.

In spite of his deteriorating condition since the first seizure on Dec. 8, 2008, I choose to trust the Lord and praise Him for a complete breakthrough in his condition.

The chiropractor was helping with the other breathing difficulty he had since the stroke, but the wheezing is new and so far there has been no physical change and he doesn’t feel any better.

It’s increasingly more difficult for him to walk because he can’t catch his breath. I had to resort to putting a chair on the stairway landing so he can rest halfway going upstairs. At this hour he’s still in bed struggling with every breath. He doesn’t want to live like this, so please fervently pray for healing of this condition.

Later this morning (Mon.) he sees the heart specialist for the atrial fibrillation, so I will make sure that this issue is addressed again. But prayer is the most important thing he needs now.

Thank you for your faithfulness to pray.
