Pain Relief on the Way

Steve went to an orthopedist on Wednesday for the pain he had in his right shoulder. Several x-rays revealed that the problem was caused by inflammation in a tendon rubbing against the AC joint. The doctor gave him a cortizone injection and it is making a difference. Even though he still has pain, it’s not as severe. He still has difficulty pulling himself from a sitting to a standing position, but he is sleeping better at night.

On Thursday, Steve saw an osteopathic doctor down in Appleton for the breathing problems. She did some great manipulations on his back, neck, shoulder and hip. It was a combination of physical therapy, chiropractic, and reflexology therapy. We should have gone to this doctor in the first place, but we were trying to find someone in the Green Bay area to no avail. Dr. Meyer is the only osteopathic doctor north of Milwaukee, and she helped quite a bit. Steve is noticing some change, but he’s still struggling. He’ll be going back to see her again next week, so we’re requesting continued prayed until he can breathe without pain.

I have a renewed sense of hope and I feel that we’re on the right track, so thank you so much for your prayers.

Kathy
