Hi
My name is Michael Chang and I had a stroke 2 month ago. I was a lucky one. After stroke, I had hard time balancing and unable to use my right side. However, throgh accupunture and physical rehab, I was able to use my right side 80% of the full function. The recovery is up to each individual. As a stroke recovery, we do not intend to move. We need to be active, and we need to be more active than the past.I exercise at least 2 hours in the morning. I lift weight for an hour and I walk on tread mill for at least 30 minute and I swim for another 30 minute. Since the stroke I have lost 50lb anf I have completely changed my diet. I will consume fish twice a week and I eat 80% vegetables and fruits without sugar or salt. The most important thing about recovery is our will to get recover and we need to be active than ever before. I go to mall and department store to eye shop and I try to walk much as possible. Exercise, eating low sodium, low fat diet, and active lifestyle make recovery faster and most of all greatful for the chance to live again
